Job Summary: afaplan is seeking a Quality Technician to join the inspection team for the Porto Metro Ruby Line, ensuring compliance and quality in engineering construction works. Key Highlights: 1. Multidisciplinary team and collaborative environment **afaplan**, a leading company in engineering and construction inspection, is reinforcing its team with a **Quality Technician**, to integrate the **inspection team for the Porto Metro Ruby Line**. We seek professionals to collaborate on technically and operationally demanding construction projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance of executed works with the design, tender documents, and technical specifications; * Monitor on-site execution, ensuring effective implementation of the Quality Plan; * Conduct technical inspections and quality checks on works and materials at site; * Manage and follow up non-conformities, promoting implementation of corrective and preventive actions; * Validate test results, trial outcomes, and associated technical documentation related to work execution; * Prepare quality control reports to support the inspection team. **Requirements:** * **Bachelor’s degree in Engineering**, completed **at least 5 years ago;** * **Minimum of 3 years’ proven professional experience** in **Quality Management and Control in Public Works;** * Experience in large-scale and complex projects (preferably in transport or public infrastructure); * Proficiency in planning and control tools; * Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, and technical rigor; * Good communication skills, teamwork spirit, and results orientation. **We Offer:** * Integration into a nationally renowned company in **engineering and consulting**; * Participation in a strategic project – **Porto Metro Ruby Line**; * Multidisciplinary team and collaborative environment; * Terms and conditions commensurate with experience and responsibilities of the role.
