**Warehouse Clerk** **Mission:** Responsible for the management, control, and organization of material or product *stock* within the warehouse. Must ensure that receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company procedures, maintaining record accuracy and the integrity of stored items. **Responsibilities:** * Receive products or materials arriving at the warehouse; verify quantities and compliance with orders and legal documentation; * Inspect the quality of received items, record any damage or discrepancies found, and report them to the responsible person for appropriate action; * Update entry records in the *stock* control system; * Organize products within the warehouse efficiently, adhering to safety regulations and specifications for each type of material; * Control item placement, ensuring optimal use of space and easy access to high-demand items; * Label and identify materials clearly and accurately to facilitate control and location; * Conduct strict *stock* control, recording entries, exits, and material movements; * Carry out periodic inventories to ensure physical *stock* matches system-recorded *stock*, adjusting any discrepancies; * Monitor stock levels of products or materials, flagging items requiring replenishment or procurement; * Prepare products for shipment, packaging, labeling, and organizing them according to upK-established standards; * Ensure products are ready for delivery by the specified deadline, meeting quality and safety requirements; * Monitor goods delivery, ensuring processes comply with upK-established requirements; * Strictly follow safety regulations when handling materials, preventing accidents and damage to assets; * Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workplace for both employees and stored products; * Prepare periodic reports on *stock* status, including low-turnover items or those nearing expiration, and suggest process improvements; * Collaborate with personnel from other departments; * Positively contribute to implementing the Quality, Environment, and Safety Management System (QESMS) in accordance with their role, ensuring compliance with legal and other requirements and continuous QESMS improvement; * Ensure all staff implement the QAS Management System, complying with legal and other requirements and supporting continuous improvement. **Requirements** * Academic Qualifications: Technical secondary education in logistics or related fields (equivalent to Grade 12). * Preferred experience with Office 365 from an end-user perspective, plus proven practical experience in this role. * Other preferred qualifications (e.g., experience, languages, software): certified forklift operator training, preferably.
