This advertisement might be for you!** Technical Maintenance (m/f) The Engineering \& Infrastructures Department is responsible for managing all company facilities in Portugal, ensuring they meet the needs of the DHL business. It negotiates agreements regarding current and future facilities, managing relationships with DHL Group teams for Construction and Engineering (Sorting Systems), as well as with suppliers and business partners. Purchasing, Fleet, Engineering, and Maintenance are also integral parts of this department. The Technical Maintenance role is part of this department and has the mission to ensure the proper functioning of the building, as well as the sorting and automated shipment sorting equipment and other equipment used in operational processes, through the execution of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plans. It ensures interface with suppliers and partners performing assistance and maintenance on faulty equipment, as well as providing information related to their activities according to DHL Service standards and current safety requirements. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on the automated shipment sorting system and other operational equipment, as well as simple corrective maintenance required by the building. * Operate via SCADA-type systems the automated sorting equipment during its operation in Import, Export, and night operational cycle processes, interacting with operational teams during various stoppages or changes. * Record malfunctions in various building equipment, including the automated sorter, and identify maintenance needs that must be referred to external suppliers. * Monitor corrective and preventive maintenance processes carried out by external suppliers. * Effectively use the automatic belt to ensure correct sorting and input information into the computer system or prepare daily operation reports (when applicable). **Profile:** * Professional technical degree in automation and robotics or industrial mechanics (preferable), minimum: completed 12th grade; * Previous experience in Technical Maintenance roles involving servomechanisms (preferable); * Knowledge of mechanics (transmission by pulleys, belts, chains, conveyor belts); * Knowledge of pneumatics (compression, distribution lines, maintenance and operation of 5/2 solenoid valves); * Knowledge of electricity (maintenance of electrical panels, consumption measurement, emergency stops); * Knowledge of electronics/instrumentation (RS 232, RS 486, TCP/IP protocol, photocells); * Good command of the English language (spoken and written); * Proficiency in OFFICE365 and ability to adapt quickly to new computer systems; * Good time management / flexibility and availability; * Focus on achieving objectives; * Organizational skills; * Good interpersonal skills and active listening; **Working Hours:** 8 hours per day (40 hours weekly) on a rotating shift schedule from Sunday (after 8:00 PM) to Saturday (between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM), with daily working hours ranging between 6:30 AM and 3:00 AM.
