Interested in applying your wealth of technical knowledge and experience towards an opportunity in the medical field and improve the lives of people? **What You’ll Work On** * Design, implement, and evaluate software using C * Assist in preparing software design requirements and specifications per Abbott's design development process. * Evaluate selected designs through testing and documentation, addressing moderate scope problems. * Participate in software development, verification, and validation under guidance. * Adhere to Design Control procedures for software development. * Demonstrate proficiency in software implementation. * Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. **Minimum Qualifications**: * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related engineering discipline or related experience * \+8 years of related experience **Preferred Qualifications:** ----------------------------- * Extensive knowledge of RFID technology * Operating Systems \& Kernel Development * Deep proficiency in Linux kernel development and customization * Strong knowledge of Android kernel modification and AOSP * Extensive knowledge of Microchip microcontrollers (PIC, AVR, SAM series) * Proficiency with Atmel microcontrollers and development tools * Strong background with Espressif SoCs (ESP32, ESP8266 series) * Understanding of peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB) * Experience working in hardware
