Job Summary: Lead the technical development of complex HVAC systems, ensuring delivery of projects with high technical quality and efficient, robust solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Team coordination and primary point of contact for project managers. **Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)** **Purpose of the Role** To lead the technical development of complex HVAC systems and ensure delivery of projects with high technical quality. You will ensure that HVAC solutions are efficient, robust, and feasible, aligned with project requirements, client needs, and applicable standards. **What You Will Do** **Advanced Technical Design and Analysis** * Lead the design and technical development of complex HVAC systems (ventilation, heating, cooling, air conditioning, and smoke control), from conceptual phase through to execution design. * Perform and validate advanced thermal load calculations, air distribution analysis, duct sizing, equipment selection, and system performance evaluation. * Design and technically validate smoke extraction and pressurization systems in accordance with fire safety design projects and regulations. * Conduct and review advanced energy simulations and performance analyses using simulation tools (e.g., DesignBuilder), ensuring optimized and technically robust solutions. * Prepare, review, and technically validate drawings, models, and reports using CAD and BIM tools. * Produce and review technical documentation, including project reports, technical notes, specifications, and quantity take-offs. * Ensure full compliance with national and international standards, project specifications, and internal procedures, exercising technical judgment where necessary. * Actively participate in technical coordination meetings, design reviews, and constructability analyses. * Provide technical responses to client, contractor, and site queries (including RFIs and design clarifications). * Support the construction phase through technical reviews, on-site supervision, and resolution of complex HVAC-related issues. * Support the Technical Lead in maintaining and evolving HVAC technical standards and design methodologies. * Act as the technical leader for the HVAC discipline, coordinating the technical team and serving as the primary point of contact with the project manager to ensure compliance with discipline-specific requirements. **What We Are Looking For** * In-depth knowledge of HVAC system design, energy efficiency, and performance optimization. * Proficiency in design and simulation tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP or equivalents). * Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and control systems. * Experience in reviewing and validating technical documentation and deliverables. * Understanding of sustainability principles and integration of HVAC systems into complex projects. * Technological Literacy * Flexibility, Resilience, and Agility * Curiosity and Lifelong Learning * Motivation * Collaboration * Problem Solving * Analytical Thinking * Creative and Innovative Thinking * Autonomy * Coordination * Decision Making * Empathy **What We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with competencies demonstrated throughout the hiring process. * Career development aligned with your aspirations, skills, and company strategy. * Highly challenging projects. * Integration into small, agile teams where your voice matters. * 25 days off (22 vacation days + Carnival + Birthday + Christmas Eve), with possibility to increase to 28 based on absenteeism. * Health insurance.
