We are seeking a **Senior Data Cloud Architect t**o join on an International project. **Responsibilities:** * Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost\-efficient **data architectures** primarily on **AWS** * Lead **data engineering and cloud platform projects**, from concept to production * Develop and enforce **data governance and security standards** across platforms * Build and optimize **data pipelines, ETL processes**, and orchestration workflows using tools such as **Apache Airflow**, **AWS Step Functions**, **Lambda**, and **Glue** * Use **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)** for platform deployment and management * Apply hands\-on coding in **Python** and **SQL** to prototype solutions and set technical standards * Ensure performance optimization for large datasets and manage **Iceberg tables**, **Redshift**, **DuckDB**, and **PostgreSQL** * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams and act as a **technical leader and mentor**. **What we are looking for:** * 10\+ years of experience in cloud data engineering and architecture * Deep expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions) * Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) * Strong hands\-on skills in Python and SQL * Experience in data governance, security, and compliance * Background in large\-scale data migrations and platform optimizations * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem\-solving skills * Experience in European corporate environments, preferably within large\-scale, regulated organizations * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * Fluent in English and available to go to the office 3 days per week. **What will be a plus:** · Exposure to Azure data services and Azure Databricks. · Knowledge of Kafka, Apache Flink, and streaming data technologies. · Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workloads. · Familiarity with Dataiku or similar data analytics platforms. · AWS or Azure certifications. **Work Regime**: Hybrid at Porto (**Needs to work at the office 3 times per week – Porto)** **What we offer:** * 25 days of vacation * 50€ birthday bonus * health insurance * Training * Opportunity to develop your career Take the Leap, Join Us!
