We are seeking to hire a Civil Construction Estimator for the Porto region. 1\. Job Description The professional will be responsible for the technical and economic analysis of projects, preparation of estimates and proposals, contributing to the delivery of competitive and technically sustainable solutions. 2\. Main Responsibilities \- Analyze architectural, structural, and specialty project documents. \- Perform measurements and quantify works. \- Prepare quantity take-off sheets and cost estimates. \- Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations. \- Prepare technical and financial estimates and proposals for public and private tenders. \- Update price and unit cost databases. \- Support preparation of documentation required for tenders and award procedures. 3\. Job Requirements \- Higher or technical education in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field; \- Professional experience in civil construction estimating (a preferred qualification); \- Ability to interpret project drawings and written specifications; \- Knowledge of measurement techniques, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis; \- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation and technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar). \- Analytical ability, rigor, and attention to detail. \- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. 4\.
