Integration into agile teams where you have an active voice **Purpose of the Role** The Mid-level HVAC Engineer independently develops and coordinates HVAC system projects for buildings and infrastructure. This role ensures that systems are technically sound, efficient, and aligned with project requirements and applicable standards. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provides technical input across various project phases. **Responsibilities** * Technical Design and Analysis * Design and develop HVAC systems (ventilation, heating, cooling, and air conditioning) in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. * Perform detailed thermal load calculations, air distribution analysis, duct sizing, and equipment selection. * Perform detailed smoke extraction system calculations in accordance with the Fire Safety Project. * Conduct HVAC energy simulations using simulation tools (DesignBuilder). * Prepare technical drawings and reports using CAD and BIM tools. * Prepare technical documentation — reports, material lists, and design notes. * Apply and ensure compliance with national and international standards, as well as internal procedures. * Contribute to optimizing solutions and resolving technical issues throughout project development. * Coordinate with other disciplines (architecture, structures, electrical, BIM, etc.) to ensure system integration. * Participate in coordination meetings and contribute during design and construction phases. * Support responses to technical queries from clients and contractors. * Propose improvements to design methodologies, templates, and calculation procedures. **Knowledge** * Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, their components, and design principles. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP for system modeling and documentation. * Ability to perform thermal load calculations, airflow calculations, and equipment selection. * Knowledge of applicable standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices. * Good command of English. **Competencies** * **Technological Literacy –** Ability to use, understand, and adapt to digital and technological tools relevant to the role. * **Resilience, Flexibility, and Agility –** Ability to handle change, pressure, and challenges, adapting quickly to new priorities, contexts, and project demands. * **Curiosity and Lifelong Learning –** Continuous interest in learning, updating skills, and exploring new technical, digital, or organizational approaches, oriented toward continuous improvement. * **Motivation –** Ability to self-motivate, understand one’s own strengths and development areas, and act intentionally to continuously evolve. * **Collaboration –** Ability to work effectively with others, sharing information, responsibilities, and common goals. * **Problem Solving –** Ability to take ownership of emerging challenges and address them in a structured, solution-oriented manner. * **Analytical Thinking –** Ability to analyze data, technical information, and contextual factors to support evidence-based decisions. * **Creative and Innovative Thinking –** Ability to generate novel ideas and innovative solutions while staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovative approaches. * **Autonomy –** Ability to act independently, with ownership and accountability. * **Coordination –** Ability to align activities, people, and disciplines to ensure alignment and efficiency. **What We Offer** * Salary commensurate with competencies demonstrated throughout the process. * Career development aligned with your aspirations, competencies, and company strategy. * Highly challenging projects. * Integration into small, agile teams where you have an active voice. * 25 days off (22 vacation days + Carnival + Birthday + Christmas Eve), with possibility to increase to 28 based on absenteeism. * Flexible working hours. * Health insurance.
