Independently or as part of a team, producing opinions and projects of varying complexity, and performing other general or specialized support activities in common, instrumental and operational areas, particularly within the scope of the Facilities and Heritage Management Service, highlighting the following areas: a) develop studies on environmental management and energy efficiency; b) implement actions aimed at rationalizing resource consumption, particularly energy and water; c) collect data on laboratory effluents, supporting the implementation of measures for their collection and redirection to neutralization and recycling; d) promote energy certification audits and indoor air quality assessments; e) carry out awareness-raising activities for the academic community in environmental matters; f) develop and monitor procurement processes for goods and services supporting environmental management; g) collaborate in all procedures associated with the University of Coimbra's General Regulation on Waste Prevention and Management; h) ensure the updating of the registry database identifying infrastructures, equipment and contracts related to environmental matters; i) monitor and control processes regarding Legionella, Radon, Fluorinated Gases and pest control; j) support the implementation of environmental projects, including urban waste management, sustainable mobility and climate change. Representing the agency or service in matters of technical specialization, making technical and scientific decisions within higher directives or guidelines. Functions performed with technical responsibility and autonomy, albeit under qualified superior supervision.
