Papyrus: Volume 1 (110 min., Michel Gauthier and Raymond Lebrun, 1998) DUB: * PT-PT. Format: * 2 VHS tapes. Condition: * Used; * Tested and functional; * Very good condition (cosmetic mark on the box). Synopsis: In the beginning, Horus, the god of light, and Set, the god of darkness, vied for power over Egypt. The divine tribunal resolved the conflict—Set was exiled, and Horus became the first pharaoh. Thereafter, pharaohs succeeded one another for 2,000 years. But Set prepared his revenge and, taking refuge in his magnificent black pyramid of Hombus, imprisoned Horus within a magical sarcophagus. Since then, deprived of their protective god, the Egyptians have lived under Set’s threat—until the day when Papyrus, a young fisherman chosen by the gods, fulfills his mission to find the gate of Hombus and restore peace to Egypt.
