Career progression based on skill development **AIBILI – Association for Innovation and Biomedical Research on Light** has an opening position for a creative and resourceful master level researcher with deep learning, image processing, and computational science skills. The work plan to be carried out involves the development and validation of models to be used in the screening and management of blinding age\-related diseases. **Minimum Admission Requirements:** * Master’s degree in Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related fields, * Knowledge of Julia or Python, * Candidates must be committed to undertaking their PhD within this topic (or already be involved in a related PhD thesis). **The following skills are appreciated:** * Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, * Experience in image processing, * Experience in developing dashboards, * Experience with scikit\-image or Images.jl, * Experience with MLJ.jl or Scikit\-learn, * Experience with SQL, MongoDB, or CosmosDB, * Experience with Docker. **We offer:** * Salary compatible with the function to be performed, * PhD tuition fees paid by AIBILI at a Portuguese institution, \- 35\-hour workweek compatible with personal and family life (9:00 \- 13:00; 14:00 \- 17:00\), * Possibility of career progression according to the development of skills. **Application process:** Applications must be submitted at AIBILI website: \ by filling the form.
