MMC is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor (M/F) – Penela, Coimbra Main Responsibilities: * Identify root causes of failures in machines and equipment and implement long\-term technical solutions focused on reliability and performance. * Supervise the proper operation of machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, motors, sensors, generators, and other critical assets. * Manage the maintenance technical team to ensure high\-quality work execution and compliance with technical and safety standards. * Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize maintenance routines to enhance system performance and efficiency. * Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and recording of root causes. * Ensure technical training to keep team skills up\-to\-date with operational needs and safety regulations. Requirements: * Residence in the Coimbra district or surrounding areas (mandatory) * Over 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a factory environment, with in\-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated maintenance. * Additional skills in building maintenance, carpentry, welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc. (highly valued). * Experience in implementing and managing preventive, corrective, and continuous maintenance programs. * Flexibility to address issues outside normal working hours and on weekends.
