Summary: We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of a 5-star luxury boutique hotel in Porto, focusing on financial management and service excellence. Opportunity for professional development in a demanding environment We are looking to identify a professional for the role of Assistant General Manager to join the team of a client that owns a 5\-star boutique hotel located in the centre of Porto. About the company: A 5\-star hotel, currently a reference in Porto’s hospitality market, where luxury is reflected in attention to detail and personalised service. The hotel values authenticity, professionalism, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in hospitality and guest service. Main responsibilities: * Provide direct support to the General Manager in the day\-to\-day management of the hotel, with a particular focus on the financial area; * Ensure compliance with the hotel’s quality and service standards; * Monitor daily operations and ensure coordination between the hotel’s different departments; * Analyse performance indicators and propose improvements; * Manage complaints and ensure full guest satisfaction. Desired profile: * Higher education degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field, or alternatively in Economic Sciences, such as Management, Economics or Finance. This is a mandatory requirement; * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory or management roles within the luxury hospitality sector, preferably in 5\-star hotels; * Analytical capability to support financial decision\-making; * Strong sense of responsibility, discretion and proactivity; * Leadership skills and team spirit; * Excellent communication skills and fluency in Portuguese and English. Additional languages will be valued; * Strong attention to detail and customer orientation.
