**Summary / Overview:**
We are seeking a Customer Quality Performance Engineer for a major client in the automotive sector, responsible for ensuring quality performance impacting end customers and manufacturing plants, leading critical issues, escalations, and cross-functional actions.
**Responsibilities and Tasks**
* Identify quality weaknesses and deviations, issue alerts, and ensure implementation of effective solutions to protect the customer.
* Lead tracking of critical and cross-functional issues, ensuring compliance with defined actions and timelines.
* Monitor resolution timelines for non-conformities, guaranteeing robust and definitive solutions for series production and after-sales.
* Coordinate follow-up meetings and perform appropriate escalations to relevant forums.
* Prepare executive summaries of incidents and quality issues.
* Manage and escalate quality issues with potential impact on customers or after-sales campaigns.
* Monitor warranty costs associated with their scope and actively participate in follow-up meetings.
* Ensure cross-plant knowledge capture and deployment of improvement solutions.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Logistics, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality.
* Prepare and present information clearly, rigorously, and concisely to various levels of stakeholders and committees.
* Manage adverse situations with customers and different stakeholders, maintaining appropriate, solution-oriented communication.
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or related degree.
* 4–5 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or projects within the automotive industry.
* Experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, or Quality Engineering.
* Knowledge of automotive products/components.
* Proficiency in quality tools: 5 Whys, Ishikawa, IS/IS NOT, and Risk Assessment.
* Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, cross-functional coordination, and project management capability.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize information.
* Advanced English and professional French.
* Microsoft Office – user level.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in customer management, warranties, or after-sales.
* Experience in international/multicultural environments.
