We are recruiting a **Financial Auditor** to join our **Audit & Assurance** team in **Porto**. **WHAT WILL YOU DO HERE?** * Identify and assess internal risks and controls; * Ensure evaluation of fraud risks; * Develop and document audit procedures; * Present conclusions and contribute improvement recommendations; * Support the review of financial statements; * Prepare progress reports on audit engagements; * Monitor and supervise the audit process; * Assist in preparing drafts of Legal Audit Certifications and Audit Reports. **WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING IN YOUR BACKPACK?** * Academic background in Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields; * 1–3 years of professional experience in Financial Auditing; * Solid knowledge of Accounting; * Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); * Good command of English, both spoken and written; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel; * Client orientation; * Ability to manage fieldwork teams, strong sense of commitment, and time management skills; * Goal orientation, planning and organizational ability, initiative, adaptability, critical thinking, and analytical capability. **THE CHERRY ON TOP IS…** * Registration with the Portuguese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas). **WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?** * Integration into a leading international firm, ranked as the 5th largest auditing and consulting firm in Portugal and globally; * Opportunity to support and advise companies—strategically and operationally—across varied sizes, sectors, and business areas; * Continuous training and a culture of closeness; * Permanent employment contract; * Structured career and salary progression plan, with potential advancement to roles of greater responsibility and performance-based bonuses; * Benefits aligned with BDO’s current policy.
