Participate in highly renowned artistic projects The Fundação Casa da Música is recruiting a **Lighting Technician (m/f/d)** with a strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and artistic sensitivity to join its Integrated Production Management team. **Location:** Porto, Portugal **Employment Type:** Full-time | On-site | Rotating shifts This is a unique opportunity to work at one of the country’s most iconic cultural institutions, directly contributing to the technical quality of nationally and internationally acclaimed performances. **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:** * Preparing and installing stage lighting systems for concerts, performances, and events (artistic or corporate), in accordance with the technical team’s planning; * Operating lighting systems during rehearsals and performances, ensuring the technical execution of defined lighting plans; * Collaborating on the creation and adaptation of lighting designs, contributing to the technical-artistic aspects of productions; * Installing and dismantling lighting equipment—including stage mechanics devices—whenever necessary; * Supporting external productions by providing technical assistance and coordinating with external operators and teams; * Maintaining and adapting stage lighting systems across various spaces within the building, ensuring their proper functioning; * Producing and organizing technical documentation to support production planning and record-keeping (diagrams, floor plans, technical specifications); * Ensuring maintenance, storage, and cleaning of equipment and technical areas, promoting safe and efficient working conditions; * Proposing and collaborating on implementing technical solutions that improve processes, outcomes, and the experience of artists, audiences, and partners. **Required Profile:** * Higher technical education or vocational training in Stage Lighting or a related field; * At least 2 years of professional experience within the last 5 years, with emphasis on lighting for performances, concerts, or events; * Knowledge of lighting control and programming software; * Availability to work under a rotating shift schedule; * Interest in and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams. **What We Value:** * Interest in performing arts and media arts; * Experience in cultural or institutional environments; * Flexibility and proactivity in resolving technical issues. **What We Offer:** * Integration into an outstanding technical team; * A dynamic and creative working environment; * Opportunity to participate in highly renowned artistic projects; * Contractual conditions commensurate with demonstrated experience. **Join Casa da Música and help us illuminate the great moments of culture!** Type of position: Full-time Selection Question(s): * Are you available to work variable and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends?
