This role involves designing and implementing robust architectures, ensuring integration of security-by-design practices, vulnerability management, and compliance with application security standards.** * Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices using scalable, resilient, and secure architectures. * Build and optimize high-performance APIs and event-driven architectures. * Manage and implement security tools throughout the development lifecycle, including Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Code Analysis, and Vulnerability Management (e.g., Black Duck, Polaris, SonarQube). * Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats across applications, services, and infrastructure. * Apply threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE and PASTA for structured risk identification. * Collaborate with technical and product teams to define security standards and secure development best practices. * Contribute to software architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with security, scalability, and performance principles. * Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with international development, product, and security teams. * Support continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes, automation, and security integration across the development lifecycle. * **Requirements:** ----------------- * 3\+ years of backend development experience. * **Experience with application security tools (SCA, Static Code Analysis, and Vulnerability Management).** * Experience in cloud environments and containerized applications. * Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems. * Knowledge of C\# (.NET / ASP.NET Core) is a plus. * Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS/ACA), and CI/CD. * Knowledge of SQL Server databases. * Experience with microservices, Domain-Driven Design, and Clean Architecture. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills within international teams. * **Proficiency in English (C1/C2\).** * Frontend knowledge (Angular) is a plus. * **Permanent residence in Portugal and valid documentation permitting work in the country.** **Work Location:** Lisbon **Work Model:** Hybrid (2 days/week) \- Flexible
