Job Summary: This professional will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and consistency of SQL Server databases within an ecosystem that includes platforms such as OutSystems and Salesforce. We are part of one of the largest multinational groups in the sector and are undergoing a transformation process that will enable us to grow and expand the boundaries of the markets in which we operate. **The Challenge** As part of the IT department, this professional will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and consistency of SQL Server databases within an ecosystem that includes platforms such as OutSystems, Salesforce, and Python-based integrations. This role will be critical to application stability, working closely with development teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of SQL Server databases; * Analyze and optimize queries, including those generated by OutSystems and Salesforce; * Identify and resolve performance issues, such as locks, deadlocks, and bottlenecks; * Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies; * Manage high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, such as Always On or Log Shipping; * Ensure data consistency across different systems, including ERP, CRM, and integrations; * Collaborate with development teams to improve data models and access patterns; * Automate operational tasks using scripts, jobs, and monitoring tools. **We Are Looking For Professionals With:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL Server; * Strong proficiency in T\-SQL and performance optimization; * Experience troubleshooting production environments; * Experience with HA/DR strategies and backup management; * Experience in application environments, preferably with OutSystems or similar platforms; * Knowledge of data integration, including APIs, ETL, and synchronization; * Experience in scripting, particularly PowerShell or Python; * Ability to work closely with development teams; * Experience with Azure SQL or cloud environments is valued; * Experience in mission-critical and highly demanding environments is valued.
