This is your opportunity to join an international group with a project that needs you to help meet the challenges of digital transformation. **THE ROLE** We are looking for a \#TechTalent to work as a **Database Administrator DB2 LUW (Linux)** for an international project. **YOUR DAY TO DAY** * Analyze and Tune Linux\-based mid\-to\-large DB2 Database instances * Maintain and improve the Core datasets, on which the Company relies for daily business * Adapt to various existing frameworks, and contribute to the definition of future ones * Provide implementations that will be reliable, fast, scalable and responsive * Work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as frontend and backend developers, mainframe specialists, technology architects, as well as our operations colleagues **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** * Successfully completed technical studies in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar experience * Operation and integration in High\-Performance environments * Excellent understanding of Linux Administration (SLES, CentOS), Virtualization with VMware (as a user) * Minimum 5 years of experience in Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUW database management systems * Experience in DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos * Proficient in Statement/Procedure Optimization * Fluency in English and excellent communication skills * Regime: once a week at the office (Venda do Pinheiro, Lisboa/Porto) **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US** **Opportunity to lead major projects** By leading projects for an international Axians customer, you can make your mark in the IT world. **Recognition as a professional and as a person** For Axians, the professionals who lead customer projects have a name and a face and are therefore recognized by the company. **Work Life Balance and premium benefits** Axians values the family life of its employees by giving 5 days beyond those legally provided after the birth of children.
