Job Summary: The Quality Controller ensures internal quality and technical support to production, being responsible for inspecting parts and verifying compliance with Group standards. Communicate and support departments involved in the process **Description** The Quality Controller's role is to ensure internal quality and technical support to production in accordance with the Group's quality parameters. They are responsible for receiving and inspecting parts according to sampling criteria. This position is part of the quality wall and reports to the HMM Portugal Pole Quality Manager. **Main Responsibilities** * Quality Control – visual inspection of parts for defects * Dimensional Control – verification of part dimensions using measuring equipment * In-process Control – dimensional control after machining * External Raw Part Inspection * Conduct regular tests on materials, production processes, and end-of-line products to assess compliance with quality standards * Ensure communication and support to involved departments (Production/Continuous Improvement/CNC) throughout the processes * Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, and Group procedures **Profile** * Minimum one year of experience in production * Solid knowledge of production processes and associated defects * Familiarity with measuring equipment (non-eliminatory requirement) * Proficient computer skills as an end-user of Office tools (Outlook and Excel) * Resilience and ability to manage conflicts * Customer orientation (internal/external) * Strong cross-functional communication and teamwork skills * Analytical rigor and attention to detail
