Expertise in AI solution design, cloud platforms, and Python/SQL ### **A Snapshot of Your Day** The role is created to drive new Artificial Intelligence initiatives for EQS processes, aiming to enhance efficiency and functionality through system\-independent AI solutions. To address this, the role will focus on three core areas: the end\-to\-end architecture of new AI solutions, the integration of data flows from various HR and EQS systems, and the operational management and continuous improvement of both new and existing AI applications. ### **How You’ll Make an Impact** ### * Design and develop the architecture for scalable AI solutions, including both in\-application and custom\-built systems, to optimize EQS business processes. * Serve as the technical expert on AI solution design, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to meet business needs. * Ensure the compatibility, interoperability, and stability of new AI solutions within the existing DC systems landscape. * Lead the design of data models and integration patterns for AI applications, ensuring robust and efficient data flow. * Oversee the integration of data flows from multiple EQS systems to support AI agents and models. * Develop and manage APIs and data pipelines to facilitate real\-time information exchange between AI solutions and core business systems. * Collaborate with development teams to guide the implementation of AI components, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. * Define and apply configuration management and DevOps (CI/CD) practices for deploying AI solutions. * Assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of existing AI solutions, ensuring their continued performance and reliability. * Establish and manage governance processes for AI systems, including monitoring, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in production AI environments. * Coach and review the work of other professionals involved in AI initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert. ### **What You Bring** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. * Extensive professional experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on designing and implementing AI, machine learning, or data\-driven systems. * Proven experience managing large, complex technical projects with limited oversight, consistent with a Specialist Professional (P4\) level. * Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern software development lifecycles. * Expertise in AI and solution design, including strategic thinking, cloud services, microservices architecture, application programming interfaces (APIs), and knowledge of the systems development life cycle to deliver scalable, innovative, and business‑aligned technology solutions. * Expertise in technical implementation and operations, including proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, and strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities to support reliable, efficient, and scalable technology solutions. * Effective process and collaboration capabilities, including the application of agile methodologies, consulting expertise, and workflow management to support efficient delivery, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. ### **Who is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
