We are expanding our team in **Lisbon** and seeking a **Consultant** who wishes to join a solid, growing company where professional development is a priority. **Your responsibilities will include:** You will be responsible for the accounting and tax oversight of a portfolio of companies, including: * Organizing, classifying, and recording accounting documents; * Bank reconciliations and account analysis; * Handling accruals, deferrals, and depreciation; * Preparing monthly and annual closing entries; * Preparing and filing tax obligations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, Stamp Duty, Model 30, among others); * Preparing financial and tax reporting; * Supporting and advising clients on accounting and tax matters. **The profile we seek:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Auditing, or equivalent field; * Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting and taxation; * Solid knowledge of Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Personal Income Tax; * Experience preparing and filing tax returns (mandatory requirement); * Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; * Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and teamwork; * Good English language skills will be valued. **What you’ll find at Monteiro & Pais:** We know choosing a company depends on more than just salary.
