The company’s brand portfolio includes the leading brands Domino®, C\&H®, Redpath®, Tate \& Lyle®, Lyle’s® and Sidul®. **SCOPE OF THE ROLE** Reporting to the Packaging Shift Supervisor, the professional will be responsible for operating and keeping packaging machines and auxiliary equipment clean, performing minor adjustments, and consistently complying with ASR Group’s Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability standards. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Operate packaging machines and auxiliary equipment. * Ensure product quality and hygiene according to company standards. * Monitor Critical Control Points (metal detectors) and Control Points (magnets, sieves, and screens), including associated records. * Clean and disinfect machines and materials in accordance with the defined Hygiene Plan. * Apply rules and remain vigilant regarding metrological verification methods and contaminant detection. * Mechanical aptitude for minor repairs and equipment lubrication. * Proactively anticipate potential functional or quality-related issues. * Maintain and improve production line efficiency and minimize downtime. * Comply with company safety standards and always use required personal protective equipment. * Pay attention to equipment maintenance. * Propose improvement ideas related to safety, hygiene, or efficiency. * Report any incidents that may compromise worker or facility safety, environmental protection, or food safety. * Promote a culture of excellence in Quality, Environment, and Safety, consistently ensuring compliance with QAS management system policies and procedures. * Participate in Continuous Improvement activities. * Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defense standards, policies, and requirements. * Ensure production of products meeting Quality, Food Safety, and Authenticity requirements. * Promote the Culture of Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Safety, Environment, and Sustainability, ensuring compliance with product and process requirements. **COMPETENCIES AND KNOWLEDGE** * Responsible and dedicated; * Punctual and available to work rotating shifts; * Active and dynamic; * Ability to quickly diagnose problems within their operational area; * Knowledge of occupational health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement (preferred); * English language skills (preferred). **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE** * Forklift operation (preferred) * One to three years of experience in a manufacturing production environment (preferred) **QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed secondary education (12th grade), technical-vocational training (mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electricity, etc.) (preferred) For more than 100 years, our employees have taken pride in “Making Life a Little Sweeter” by providing our customers and consumers with quality service and sugar products.
