Surfboard crafted by renowned shaper Johnny Cabianca, model The Medina—refined and ridden for many years by three-time world champion Gabriel Medina, who won one of his titles on this very model (Snapper Rocks in 2014). A highly versatile and responsive board, suitable for a wide range of wave conditions—from small, fat waves to larger, more hollow ones. An excellent everyday board or ideal for those looking to progress in their maneuvers. Ordered directly from Johnny via Dr. Ding in Carcavelos, featuring a custom paint job. Some minor dings, but nothing affecting performance. Attached is a close-up of a small repair that was carried out. The board remains fully functional as originally intended. FCS 2 fin system model; fins not included. Selling because I no longer surf boards with volume below 27.5L, as my current weight exceeds 80kg. Upgrading my quiver. Dimensions (see attached image): 5´8", 26 liters. More details in the image. About the board: Minimal rocker from nose to tail, combined concave transitioning into a “V-bottom”. A flatter deck provides enhanced stability while keeping the board lively—even in weak beach breaks. The design maximizes water contact at lower speeds, enabling speed generation even when the wave lacks push. Thus, it performs exceptionally well in small-to-medium, low-energy waves. It is recommended to downsize up to 2 inches compared to your usual board, while adding 1 inch in width—resulting in a balanced, everyday board capable of surprising performance even on classic days. Winner at Snapper Rocks, 2014, Australia. Wave conditions: Suitable for poor-to-good conditions; may lose some drive in stronger conditions, above 1 meter. Skill level: Recommended for beginners, intermediate, and professional surfers
