We are recruiting a Shift Supervisor for a prestigious plastic injection company located in Marinha Grande.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and lead the shift team, ensuring organization and efficiency;
Plan and manage shift scheduling (workstations, breaks, absences, etc.);
Ensure compliance with the production plan;
Supervise production processes to guarantee product quality and conformity;
Monitor production process stability and implement adjustments when necessary;
Coordinate shift start-ups, shutdowns, and handovers;
Ensure recording and tracking of shift incidents;
Guarantee operator training and supervision;
Promote best practices in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement;
Ensure effective communication among teams and supervisors;
Other duties inherent to the role
REQUIREMENTS
Secondary education or minimum 2 years’ experience in plastic injection (preferably in the automotive industry);
Knowledge of polymers and injection processes;
Knowledge of molds, injection machines, and peripheral equipment;
User-level computer skills;
Team spirit, leadership, and motivational ability;
Clear and effective communication;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proactivity, flexibility, and professionalism;
Willingness to work rotating shifts.
