YOUR ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled **Database Administrator** to join our IT Operations team. This role focuses on the **operation, maintenance, and management of complex IT systems**, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of critical database environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and manage **MS SQL Server databases** in complex, high\-availability environments. * Perform **performance analysis and tuning** (system and application level). * Diagnose, analyze, and monitor operational issues to ensure system stability. * Implement and manage **backup and recovery strategies** using tools like **Veritas NetBackup** and **Commvault**. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to maintain service quality and meet business objectives. YOUR PROFILE**Mandatory Skills:** * Strong expertise in **MS SQL Server** administration, **Windows Server** and **Linux**. * Experience with **complex architectures** (AlwaysOn clusters, replication solutions). * Proficiency in **performance tuning** and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of **backup solutions** (Veritas NetBackup, Commvault). * Familiarity with **ServiceNow** and **SMAX** (user perspective). * Basic knowledge of **Transact\-SQL (T\-SQL)**. * Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written).
