Lead and assist stewards in more efficient cleaning. Ensure water temperature and chemical quantities are appropriate for cleaning and properly recorded. Assist in banquet food setup. Support cooks and the culinary brigade with various tasks as needed. Provide items required by cooks. Assist during banquets and buffets by transporting supplies and maintaining adequate stock levels. Deliver cleaned items to appropriate locations. Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment, including dishwashers, hand sinks, wash basins, and waste compactors. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching, disciplinary reminders, motivation, and employee development. Follow and implement all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the supervisor; complete required safety training and certifications. Wear a clean, complete uniform at all times; maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty; respect confidentiality regarding brand- and/or hotel-specific information and protect all company property. Greet and serve guests according to company standards; anticipate and respond to guest needs. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; collaborate and support one another to achieve shared goals. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms independently. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Perform knee extension and flexion movements, including bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting. Move across slippery, uneven, or sloped surfaces. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
