The role requires a recognized subject matter expert capable of managing large projects with limited oversight and mentoring other professionals.**How You’ll Make an Impact*** Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, including scalable data models, integration patterns, data flows, and technology roadmaps. * Design architecture solutions for data warehouses, data lakes, and real\-time data processing platforms that support business objectives. * Assess and recommend innovative data technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities within the Grid Technologies environment. * Establish and govern data architecture standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise requirements. * Lead the architecture of complex, large\-scale data initiatives, translating business needs into robust technical solutions and ensuring seamless system integration. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data professionals, acting as a subject matter expert and fostering collaboration across business and IT stakeholders. **What You Bring*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * Extensive professional experience as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or in a similar senior data\-focused role. * Demonstrated experience managing large, complex data projects or processes with a high degree of autonomy. * Advanced technical capabilities across data management and engineering, including data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT design, cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), database systems (SQL/NoSQL), system integration, and data governance. * Well‑developed behavioral capabilities, including strategic thinking, effective stakeholder management, coaching and mentoring, and the ability to solve complex problems in dynamic environments. * Solid understanding of IT architecture principles, including frameworks such as TOGAF, to support the design and alignment of scalable and robust technology solutions. **About the Team** Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
