The Eurofins National Services Center (NSC) in Portugal is located in Paredes and centralizes accounting and financial support for all national Eurofins companies. To strengthen our Finance team in response to business growth in Portugal and elevate performance to the next level, we are seeking a **Junior Controller (m/f/x)** **Job Description** The NSC Finance team plays a fundamental role in supporting strategic decision-making. It ensures the reliability of financial information, monitors business performance, prepares management analyses and reports, and guarantees compliance with legal and tax obligations. The team works closely with other organizational areas, promoting a culture of rigor, transparency, and continuous improvement across Eurofins companies in Portugal. As a Junior Controller, you will support the preparation of financial and operational reports, analyze variances against budget and identify improvement opportunities, participate in monthly and annual closing processes, assist in budget and forecast preparation, and collaborate on process optimization projects and management control tools. As part of the NSC Finance Department, the Junior Controller will play a key role in enhancing data analysis and reporting, evaluating profitability, and controlling costs. Specifically, responsibilities include: * Monitoring intra-group operational processes and related reconciliations and balances; * Preparing and updating monthly reporting information for the multinational group; * Preparing monthly management reports segmented by business area; * Developing comparative analyses against budget; * Participating in task automation initiatives; * Identifying new improvement areas for process optimization, directly contributing to building the team’s continuous improvement culture. **Qualifications** We seek a dynamic individual capable of contributing to internal strategy and driving its execution proactively, with strong motivation to anticipate client needs and deliver excellence in analysis.
