We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Data Software Engineer** to join our team **remotely**. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data software systems and applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with cross\-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data software with other systems and applications. Additionally, you will have a pivotal role in defining and implementing data governance and security policies. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain data software systems and applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data software with other systems and applications * Define and implement data governance and security policies * Troubleshoot and debug data software issues * Develop and maintain technical documentation for data software systems and applications * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members * Stay up\-to\-date with emerging trends and technologies in data software engineering **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar * Minimum of 3 years of experience in data software engineering, with a focus on Amazon Web Services * Expertise in Python programming and Big Data technologies, including Snowflake * Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code * Ability to work in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper\-Intermediate level) **Nice to have** * Experience with AWS Glue for ETL * Familiarity with AWS Step Functions for serverless orchestration
