We extend our technology and business capabilities through a powerful alliance ecosystem of market leaders and innovators to provide our clients the best specialized skills and tailored solutions. **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a **Senior Backup Administrator.** As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining enterprise\-level backup and recovery environments using **Commvault**. **Qualifications** * \+3 years of hands\-on experience administering enterprise\-level backup and recovery environments using **Commvault** (v11\.x or newer). * **Expert knowledge in Commvault administration,** including full management, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. * Strong expertise in **database backup** and restore operations for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, including RMAN integration and agent configuration. * Advanced knowledge in **virtualization platforms** such as VMware and Hyper\-V for VM backup, VSA configuration, and proxy optimization. * Experience with **cloud backup integration** and storage management in Azure and AWS environments. * Solid understanding of **networking fundamentals,** including ports, firewalls, proxies, and DNS configuration. * Proficient in **Windows and Linux** operating systems administration. * Fluent in **Portuguese**, with advanced technical **English.** **Responsibilities** * Administer and maintain **enterprise Commvault backup and recovery infrastructures.** * Design, implement, and manage **backup and retention policies** aligned with business continuity and compliance requirements. * Monitor **backup job performance and storage utilization,** proactively identifying and resolving issues. * Perform full and granular **restores**, including disaster recovery (DR) operations and validation tests. * Manage and maintain Commvault agents for **Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.** * Plan, coordinate, and execute **patching, upgrades, and configuration changes** within the backup environment. * **Troubleshoot and resolve incidents** related to backup failures, job delays, and performance degradation. * Collaborate with **infrastructure, database, and security teams** to ensure robust data protection standards. * Maintain **technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and reports** on system performance. **Nice to Have** * Experience with **hybrid cloud backup strategies** and cross\-platform recovery. * Understanding of **ITIL processes**, including incident, change, and problem management. * Familiarity with **infrastructure as code** (IaC) and automation for backup tasks. * Experience with **compliance standards and data protection regulations** such as GDPR. * Commvault Certified Professional (CCP) or Commvault Certified Engineer (CSE) certification is highly desirable. * Intermediate to advanced **Spanish** proficiency. **Additional Information** * **Location:** Lisbon or Porto * **Working Model:** Hybrid
