Continuous learning and growth in a challenging environment Dipcode is the software development company of the Eurotux Group and has been delivering custom software since 2004, with over 100 projects delivered to clients in banking, media, retail, education, and public administration. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking to hire: **Junior Fullstack Developer** ------------------------------ ### **Job Description** This role entails end-to-end development and maintenance of web applications — from data models to user interfaces — as part of a collaborative team with direct client interaction: **Key responsibilities include:** * Developing complete features, from backend to frontend, based on requirements agreed upon with the client and the team; * AI-assisted development using Claude as the primary working tool, with personal accountability for all deliverables; * Creating Claude-based skills useful for web development and sharing them with the team; * Researching and analyzing the client’s business domains to propose optimal solutions; * Evolutionary maintenance and defect correction for production systems; * Integration with third-party services and APIs; * Participation in client meetings and acceptance testing, supporting delivered work through to production deployment and beyond. ### **How We Work** These are not slogans posted on the wall: this is how projects operate daily — even under tight deadlines. * **The client is close by.** We meet with them, exchange emails, and listen carefully to their needs. If an unforeseen issue arises, the client is notified immediately, and we take necessary actions to minimize impact. ### **Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field; * Programming knowledge in a backend language — Python, PHP, or C\# — acquired either academically or through personal projects; * Fundamentals of web development: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus basic understanding of API consumption; * Familiarity with relational databases and SQL; * Experience using Git and associated workflows involving branches and pull requests; * Proficiency in Portuguese and English, the latter used for reading documentation and specifications, and for written communication; * Openness to code review, willingness to ask questions instead of making assumptions, and readiness to learn from more experienced colleagues; * Willingness to work on-site in Braga at Eurotux Group’s offices, with potential transition to a hybrid model after 12 months. ### **We Value (but these are not mandatory)** Not required for application, but advantageous during candidate evaluation: * Experience with Django, Laravel, .NET, FastAPI, Flask, Wagtail, or WordPress; * Experience with Angular or React; * Awareness of application security, particularly the OWASP Top 10; * Experience using Claude Code. ### **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation aligned with qualifications and demonstrated experience (salary range will be disclosed prior to the first interview); * Mentorship from senior engineers from day one; * Integration into a dynamic and engaging project with direct client interaction; * A challenging environment fostering learning and growth; * Strong career prospects, with personal and professional development opportunities.
