Analytics Junior Lisbon, Braga and Viana do Castelo The Junior Analytics Engineer position is part of our Analytics team and aims to translate business requirements into relevant metrics and indicators, contributing to our clients' Data Journey. Main responsibilities The main mission of a Junior Analytics Engineer is to translate business requirements into relevant metrics and key performance indicators, developing and maintaining Business Intelligence systems that provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Translate business rules into functional and technical requirements in a clear and systematic way; Identify the correct metrics and KPIs that meet the needs of business areas; Identify relevant data sources to produce accurate calculations for all required metrics/KPIs; Design and build data warehouse data models according to established standard patterns; Design and develop high-performance and scalable ETL processes, considering all relevant stages (staging, cleansing, etc.); Develop reports and dashboards based on business requirements; Conduct audits to ensure data quality across all Data Warehouse and Reporting infrastructures, as well as their security. **Stacks:** Microsoft, Tableau, Pentaho Requirements Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems Management, Management Informatics or Engineering. Data modeling Knowledge in designing and implementing normalized and denormalized relational data models. Languages and DB Experience with SQL and database management tools such as MS SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Personal skills Responsibility, organization and focus on solving complex problems. Teamwork Strong communication skills and ease in collaborating with different stakeholders. Languages Fluent English, both written and spoken. **Bonus points:** Shell scripting knowledge; Programming knowledge in Java or Python; Familiarity with Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA or equivalent tools.
