Job Summary: We are seeking a PHP/MySQL Developer with PrestaShop experience to support a Senior Developer in the development, maintenance, and optimization of e-commerce platforms, with an emphasis on solutions and continuous improvement. Autonomy and fast learning **Position: PHP/MySQL Developer with PrestaShop Experience (Supporting Senior Developer – Freelancer or Remote)** We are a company with over 20 years of experience in website and e\-commerce development. You will work **directly with a Senior Developer**, providing technical support, collaborating on ongoing tasks, and helping advance PrestaShop projects. We seek someone with a solid technical foundation, eagerness to learn, autonomy, and delivery focus. **Candidate Profile We Seek** * **Motivated, positive, and solution\-oriented** — not problem\-focused. * **Responsible and productive**, capable of meeting deadlines. * **Proven experience with PrestaShop**. * Solid knowledge of **PHP**, **MySQL**, **Smarty**, **HTML/CSS**, **JavaScript**. * Experience with **WordPress** is a plus. * Ability to **work alongside a senior developer**, receiving guidance while also contributing original solutions. * **Autonomy**, fast learning ability, and growth mindset. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide **direct support to the Senior Developer** in developing and maintaining PrestaShop stores. * Customization of modules, themes, and specific functionalities. * Integration with external APIs (payment gateways, ERPs, logistics providers, CRMs, etc.). * Diagnosis and resolution of bugs and performance issues. * Technical optimization (SEO, speed, security, and best practices). * Collaboration on process documentation and continuous improvement. **Highly Valued Qualifications:** * Portfolio or real\-world PrestaShop projects. * Experience with PrestaShop versions PS 1\.6, 1\.7, 8, or 9\. * Knowledge of Git, Cloudflare, and Linux servers (bonus). * Ability to work autonomously while remaining aligned with the senior developer. * Team spirit and continuous improvement mindset. **Collaboration Model** * **Freelance / service provision**, with potential for ongoing collaboration. * **Remote work**, with optional in\-person visits. * Flexible hours, provided productivity and deadline adherence are maintained. * Fair and competitive compensation, adjusted according to experience and delivery quality.
