The kitchen assistant will assist in meal preparation and execution, maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, and support other kitchen staff as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: \- Assist kitchen staff in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring. \- Assist in plating and assembling dishes according to recipes and established standards. \- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishware to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. \- Properly dispose of garbage and recyclable materials, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations. \- Store and maintain inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment. \- Assist in receiving and storing food and supply deliveries. \- Follow proper food handling procedures and always adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines. \- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. \- Perform other tasks as assigned by kitchen management.
