Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and installations for industrial, tertiary sector, and civil construction projects. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for the design and optimization of mechanical systems. 2. Participation in all project phases, from conceptual to detailed design. 3. Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams and management of multiple projects. JOB DESCRIPTION **Position Objective** * We seek a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and installations for industrial, tertiary sector, and civil construction projects. The candidate will participate in all project phases—from conceptual engineering through detailed design—ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, economic, and quality requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Design mechanical systems and installations using tools such as CYPE. * Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation. * Develop implementation plans, schematics, and construction details. * Size HVAC equipment and networks (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), piping, sanitation, and fire protection systems. * Select equipment and materials according to project requirements and applicable legislation. * Coordinate the mechanical discipline with other specialties (electrical, structural, architectural, and process). * Participate in design reviews, risk analyses, and technical optimization of solutions. * Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases. * Monitor suppliers and review technical documentation. * Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and established deadlines. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (Mechanics specialization), or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical design or installation engineering. * Proficiency in tools such as CYPE. * Experience in BIM environments (Revit MEP is an advantage). * Knowledge of calculation and design of: * HVAC systems. * Piping and sanitation networks. * Fire protection systems (FPS). * Mechanical equipment, piping, and hydraulic networks. * Familiarity with applicable national and international technical regulations. * Technical English proficiency is an advantage. **Competencies** * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Quality orientation and attention to detail. * Organization and planning skills. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. * Proactivity and initiative. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
