Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer questions regarding menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu-related questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product inventory. Relay guest dietary requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at time of order. Confirm guest satisfaction with each course of food and beverage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dishware, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate and professional invoices to guests and process payments. Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; complete safety training and certification. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets. Welcome, recognize, and anticipate the service needs of all guests in accordance with company standards; assist guests with disabilities; sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build positive workplace relationships and support the team to achieve common goals; listen attentively and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds (approximately 11 kg) unassisted; move objects exceeding 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) with assistance. Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, twist, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and ascend/descend stairs and ramps. Reach, bend, twist, pull, and squat above and below knee level. Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors. Desired Qualifications Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
