Non-functional dummy camera. Designed to resemble a genuine video surveillance camera, but without image-capturing capability. Consists of a typical compact outdoor infrared camera with a sunshade, but without internal electronics, making it more economical—thus, it is impossible to distinguish it visually from an operational camera. Also features a blinking red LED to enhance the simulation. Economical and easy to install, it can be used as a decoy: mount it in plain sight while keeping the actual CCTV system hidden. In case of theft, attacks will target the dummy camera, while the real video surveillance cameras remain safe and capture all footage undetected. It can also be used without a backup system as a simple deterrent, thereby preventing intrusions or acts of vandalism upon sighting a camera.
