Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Analyst for the banking/financial sector in Lisbon, focused on functional analysis, systems, and financial interfaces for reporting and project management. Stakeholder coordination and quality assurance NLS – New Link Solutions S.A. is currently identifying Business Analyst profiles for an opportunity in the banking/financial sector in Lisbon. We are looking for professionals with experience in functional analysis, financial information systems, and financial interfaces that feed reporting workflows, particularly financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit risk. This opportunity aims to assess the market and understand client needs; therefore, no technical validations will be conducted at this stage. Responsibilities: · Analyze and monitor functional solutions related to financial interfaces; · Define functional specifications and support project implementation; · Define operational and accounting schemes, as well as control frameworks; · Structure data flows containing the necessary information to feed financial systems; · Document functional/technical specifications of the solution to be implemented by technical teams; · Coordinate tasks and actions among different stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery; · Support the evolution of the chart of accounts, whenever required; · Contribute to the test strategy, ensuring implementation quality; · Execute accounting and reporting test phases; · Provide post\-implementation support to reporting users. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; · Experience as a Business Analyst in a banking/financial context; · Knowledge of financial information systems; · Knowledge of banking products or capital markets products; · Project management experience; · Knowledge of general and/or banking accounting will be considered an advantage; · Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant context will be considered an advantage; · Proficiency in MS Excel; · English proficiency level minimum B2\.
