What you will do: style\="margin\-bottom:0\.0cm;margin\-top:0\.0px"\- * Generate and validate short\-term (day\-ahead/intraday) forecasts for electricity load and surplus generation (post self\-consumption) across all relevant geographies * Monitor forecast deviations, analyze root causes, and propose cost\-benefit improvement measures. * Maintain and develop forecasting models to reduce forecast deviations, including recalibration and integration of exogenous variables. * Extract, process, and provide relevant information from data systems/sources to support business monitoring and prepare datasets for regulatory reporting. * Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, including automation, standardization, and control enhancements. * Actively collaborate with other areas of the organization in the development of shared processes/procedures/methodologies. Employment Type: Full\-Time Work Site: Lisboa What are we looking for: style\="margin\-bottom:0\.0cm;margin\-top:0\.0px"\- * 3\-8 years of experience in a similar field or analyst function. * Advanced knowledge of time series forecasting. * Advanced knowledge of Python applied experience in time series forecasting. * Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (DAX). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure). * Familiarity with energy markets/sector. * Strong attention to detail and process orientation. * Analytical mindset with proven problem\-solving capabilities. * Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for top management.
