**Job Title: Senior Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer** **Location: Porto, Portugal** **Work Regime: Full\-time \& Hybrid** **Overview / Summary:** We are looking for a Senior Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer responsible for managing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Linux servers—both stand\-alone and clustered—using automation. The role also covers managing storage servers, SAN switches, VMware servers, ensuring compliance with security policies, guaranteeing availability and performance, and coordinating with other teams to align infrastructure operations with business requirements. **Responsibilities and Tasks:** * Manage, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot storage servers and SAN switches. * Manage, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot VMware servers. * Interact with other teams to understand and implement business requirements, security policies, compliance rules, and network connectivity flows. * Ensure Linux servers meet required availability, performance, and security standards. * Ensure all changes, additions, or removals on Linux servers are properly managed through the automation platform. * Ensure security policies and compliance rules are applied to Linux servers. ### **Requirements** **Mandatory Requirements:** **Education:** * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. **Experience:** * Several years of experience in Linux systems administration. * Experience with Linux clustering. * Experience with automation. * Experience with VMware. * Experience with storage servers. * Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure services and networking topologies. **Interpersonal skills:** * Strong organizational, multi\-tasking, and time\-management skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. **Languages:** * Fluent in written and spoken English. **Stack Tech:** * Red Hat Enterprise Linux * Linux clustering * Automation tools (not specified) * VMware * Storage servers / SAN switches * Infrastructure services and networking topologies ### **Benefits** **Important**: * Our company does not sponsor work visas or work permits.
