If you’re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Faurecia is the place to be. **Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader** ---------------------------------------------------- We pioneer technology for mobility experiences that matter to people. **Your mission, roles and responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- The primary objective of this role is to ensure the proper operation of production equipment. **Key responsibilities:** **New Projects:** * Participate in program meetings and contribute to convergence actions to achieve objectives; * Participate in product and process launch/change teams to identify potential risks and propose improvements within your scope of responsibility, and acquire adequate knowledge to properly support Production after SOP; * Participate in initial production tests (PT/MPT/EMPT) of equipment/tools at suppliers and the factory, providing necessary support—whether training-related or technical—to the PPTL/Launch Team; **Series Production:** * Ensure achievement of targets related to equipment capacity and availability, as well as process quality and cost; * Daily monitoring of work orders; * Repair equipment and tools to restore normal operation and ensure safety and environmental conditions; * Carry out preventive/predictive maintenance activities according to established plans; * Support external teams and suppliers regarding repairs, preventive/predictive maintenance, and process changes; * Develop and maintain up-to-date preventive maintenance instructions for factory equipment and tools, based on: legal and environmental requirements, internal standards, supplier recommendations, and internal expertise; * Maintain and improve the spare parts and consumables list for equipment, tools, and process materials; * Participate in continuous improvement, definition, and adjustment of production processes; * Monitor and respond to defined indicators associated with process and equipment parameters; support their correction/improvement; * Participate in production and quality result analysis activities whenever requested, contributing to process/equipment improvements; * Participate in and support continuous improvement teams such as: 5S, SMED, HOSHIN; * Identify any improvement opportunities, implement them, and track their impact on production and results; * Participate in FMEA teams to identify process/equipment risks and define corrective actions; * Support the review of Control Plans; * Collaborate with specialists, process engineers, development centers, and/or other factories to share experience and contribute to process development; * Identify and propose tasks that can be transferred to enhance Production GAP autonomy; * Train production operators on new processes/changes; * Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal safety and environmental standards whenever equipment and tool modifications occur. **Your profile and competencies to succeed** -------------------------------------------- **Qualifications:** * Technical secondary education in Electrotechnics or Mechanics (preferred), or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering **Experience and competencies** * Professional experience in industrial maintenance and/or welding processes and tube/sheet metal processing; * Knowledge of electrical and/or electrotechnical, mechanical, and mechatronic systems; * User-level computer skills; * English; * Ability to read engineering drawings and AutoCAD. **What we can do for you** -------------------------- * At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies. * We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. * We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
