Your mission:
Ensure the execution of the regional sales plan, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, and satisfaction, in accordance with commercial policies, standards, and defined procedures, developing and supervising the sales team under your responsibility and managing company resources effectively to deliver results for Novadis portfolio products.
Location: Bombarral
Your responsibilities:
* Develop the commercial plan for customers in your area, aligned with the Regional Director, ensuring correct implementation of the regional plan and maximization of Novadis results;
* Define objectives and the annual new customer acquisition plan for your region;
* Ensure prospecting visits to the most relevant customers in the area, as stipulated in the commercial policy and in line with the sales team’s prospecting plan;
* Define, measure, and monitor commercial objectives for your area, broken down by customer and salesperson, to ensure achievement of overall regional results;
* Ensure implementation of the commercial policy in your area, monitoring its execution and effectiveness;
* Monitor commercial activities carried out by the team against defined objectives, analyzing results and proposing timely improvement actions;
* Ensure efficient route planning for the team, guaranteeing adherence to visit frequency and duration established in internal guidelines, taking into account offline and online purchasing channels, and implementing corrective actions whenever necessary, aiming to increase customers’ use of the online channel;
* Analyze customer performance in your geographic area, in line with internally established governance;
* Monitor full category availability in your region, implementing actions aimed at expanding the portfolio with customers, in alignment with regional strategic objectives;
* Lead the team, driving defined people management processes in close collaboration with Human Resources, to recruit, retain, and develop future successors and leaders, while simultaneously ensuring sustainable performance in an inclusive environment through agile working methods aligned with the company’s values, purpose, and culture.
We want you to bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Management or related fields (optional)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial and customer contact & management roles, with a focus on prospecting and business growth
* Experience managing multiple stakeholders daily, with emphasis on solving operational problems
* Leadership skills and experience managing multichannel (online and offline) sales teams; leadership and stakeholder management skills
* In-depth knowledge of the Central Region market and proven experience in the Horeca channel (mandatory)
* Previous relevant experience in FMCG, retail, distribution, beverages, and food (preferred)
* Valid Driver’s License (Category B)
* Languages: Portuguese (C1) and English (B2) (preferred for urban centers)
* MS Office (end-user level)
* Good knowledge of sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce) (preferred)
* Necessary documentation to perform subordinate work in Portugal at the time of application (elimination criterion)
