Participation in nationally and internationally significant programs. **We are recruiting: Technical Specialist \& Business Developer – Surface Naval Systems** We are seeking a **former Senior Officer of the Portuguese Navy (Frigate Captain or Sea and War Captain)** to join our defense sector team. The role combines **technical-operational expertise** with **business development** in surface naval systems and platforms. **What we value** * Operational experience aboard **surface ships**, and knowledge of combat systems, sensors, communications, and logistics. * Experience in command, staff, planning, or modernization roles. * Ability to support technical teams and interpret engineering requirements. * Strong ties to the defense ecosystem: Portuguese Navy, General Staff of the Armed Forces (EMGFA), Directorate-General for Armament and Defense Materiel (DGAPDN), industry, and international partners. * Communication skills, institutional representation capability, and strategic vision. * Technical English proficiency and willingness to undertake occasional travel. **Key Responsibilities** * Technical support for naval-domain projects and proposals. * Identification of opportunities and business development. * Interaction with clients, partners, and government entities. * Participation in technical meetings, demonstrations, and international events. **What we offer** * Integration into a technological and strategic environment. * Participation in nationally and internationally significant programs. * A role with direct impact on the evolution of naval and industrial capabilities.
