THE CHALLENGE We are recruiting a Web Development / WordPress Intern for a paid, full-time, on-site internship in Lisbon. We seek someone with a solid technical foundation, eagerness to learn, and genuine interest in the digital world. You will work side-by-side with our team, participate in real projects, and accompany all development phases — from structuring through to publishing and optimizing websites. WHO WE ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR! We want someone early in their career path but clearly motivated to progress — someone who sees digital as a medium for creation, not just execution. Minimum Requirements (Mandatory) 1. Completed bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Engineering Information Technologies / Information Systems Web Development / Web Applications Multimedia / Multimedia Design / Web Design and Technologies Digital Communication / Multimedia Communication 2. A master’s degree in the same field is valued but not required. 3. Knowledge and experience with WordPress (platform and development). Applications without a completed bachelor’s degree in one of these fields will not be considered. Other Valued Competencies Basic/intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS. Ability to develop responsive websites focused on user experience. Basic understanding of SEO. Ease of using AI tools to support work. Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate in teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback. Strong spoken and written English proficiency. WHAT YOU WILL DO Develop websites using WordPress. Adapt websites for different devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile). Support implementation of SEO best practices. Create simple, intuitive structures enabling clients to manage their own content. Provide technical support for website management and maintenance. Collaborate closely with design, content, and marketing teams. Actively participate in real projects for real clients, delivering real impact.
