Senior DevOps Engineer (.NET & Azure)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join challenging projects, contributing best practices and continuous improvements in infrastructure and DevOps, ensuring scalability, availability, and security. Application of DevSecOps principles and collaboration with teams We are looking for a **Senior DevOps Engineer** capable of contributing best practices and proposing continuous improvements in infrastructure and DevOps, integrating into challenging projects with high technological complexity. Key Responsibilities * Manage and operate application environments on-premises and on Azure, ensuring high levels of scalability, availability, and security; * Define, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes; * Develop and maintain services in .NET Core and .NET Framework within distributed architectures; * Implement and support solutions based on microservices and event-driven architectures; * Work with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for application deployment and management; * Ensure solution observability through logs, metrics, and alerts; * Support troubleshooting in production environments, including .NET applications; * Apply DevSecOps principles, ensuring security best practices, access management, and secret handling; * Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams to enable continuous delivery. Technical Requirements * **DevOps & CI/CD:** Experience with **GitLab**, automation of pipelines (build, test, deploy) * **Development:** (.NET), experience with C\#, .NET Core and .NET Framework, APIs, microservices, and workers * **Messaging:** Kafka, Event Hub, RabbitMQ * **Cloud & Containers:** Azure (App Services, CI/CD integration), Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS) * **Microservices and distributed systems messaging:** Kafka (preferred), RabbitMQ or Event Hub, and resilience concepts (retry, DLQ) * **Data:** SQL Server and MongoDB / NoSQL * **Infrastructure as Code:** Terraform **What We Offer:** * Competitive compensation aligned with demonstrated experience; * Opportunities for continuous training; * Health insurance including dental coverage; * 22 vacation days + birthday leave; * Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in Lisbon.
