Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, S.A., located in Albernoa, Beja municipality, is recruiting for the position of Front-Office Manager (m/f).
Mission
Ensure guest reception, stay accompaniment, and departure, anticipating and exceeding expectations, while delivering excellent service in accordance with defined *standards*.
Main responsibilities of the department to join
* Ensure guests are properly received upon arrival, welcomed, and appropriately escorted to their reserved accommodation;
* Monitor daily reservations and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in, in coordination with the *housekeeping* team;
* Coordinate luggage collection and storage;
* Accompany and supervise check-in and check-out operations;
* Inform guests about all hotel services available, including breakfast and meals;
* Promptly attend to all guest requests, both in person and by telephone, and manage complaints;
* Ensure special guests—including persons with disabilities, seniors, children, and VIPs—receive personalized services;
* Ensure preparation of daily occupancy *reports*;
* Accompany guests throughout their stay, promoting booking/reservation of additional services (*up* and *cross-selling*), and coordinating communication between guests and operational teams, including *housekeeping* and F&B;
* Ensure development and updating of front-office *standards* and procedures;
* Coordinate the *front-office* team (including reception, transfers, etc.), ensuring compliance with all *standards* and operational procedures.
Desired Profile
* Higher education degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or related field;
* Professional experience in this role, preferably at least 2 years;
* Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems, notably Host (or similar);
* English fluency (mandatory) and knowledge of other languages (preferred);
* Strong customer and detail orientation;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Dynamism, initiative, and ability to anticipate and resolve problems.
