Within this Association is located **Herdade da Malhadinha Nova**, in Albernoa, Beja municipality. **Herdade da Malhadinha Nova** is currently recruiting for the position of Host/Hostess (M/F). **Job Description** **Mission:** The **Host/Hostess** is the restaurant's host—a person who greets guests and escorts them to their tables. **Responsibilities:** * Greet guests, guide and escort them to their tables; * Coordinate reservations together with the Head Waiter, adhering to established standards; * Foster guest engagement and relationship-building by identifying needs, providing timely responses, and actively contributing to exceeding guest expectations; * Assist in handling complaints by responding positively and reporting them to the immediate supervisor; * Ensure correct use of utensils, materials, and equipment; * Comply with HACCP requirements. **Qualifications** **Profile:** * Technical-professional training in Restaurant/Bar or other hospitality/tourism education (preferred); * Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Waiter/Waitress, Receptionist, or in similar roles within hotels or restaurants; * Proficiency in English (mandatory); knowledge of additional languages (preferred); * Aptitude for distinctive and refined service, strongly oriented toward the customer and attention to detail; * Teamwork ability, strong communication skills, adaptability, and interpersonal relationship skills; * Dynamism, initiative, and capacity for anticipation and problem resolution; * Sense of responsibility, organizational ability, and autonomy in task execution; * Valid driver’s license (preferred); **Additional Information** * Attractive remuneration and other benefits, commensurate with proven professional experience; * Accommodation in the company’s *staff house*; * Opportunities for career progression; * Integration into a stable and solid market-established company; * A young and dynamic work environment.
