Draft expert opinions; promote and monitor projects aimed at defining and implementing municipal policies in the field of nutrition, including, inter alia: ongoing monitoring and supervision of food/nutrition services provided in school canteens and dining halls; monitoring of hygiene and food safety audits conducted at food service units (cooking and distribution units); ensuring appropriate processing of collected data; preparation of periodic reports; and issuance of technical opinions on matters related to hygiene and food safety, as well as promotion of healthy and balanced nutrition within the school community.
