It includes software that installs on the Pi to manage when the Pi powers on and off. This board is useful because the Pi lacks built-in capability for automatic or scheduled power-on/power-off. This HAT has never been used. I purchased it thinking I needed it for a project, but ultimately did not use it… The board is brand new and still in its original packaging.
